Product tracking is a centralized digital log that automatically records every production step, every product attribute and every process parameter. Each serial or batch number receives a complete data set: time stamp, machine parameters, quality values, cycle times and tool context.
Unlike rough traceability systems, Bytefabrik permanently stores the control data for each product at the moment of production.
This is particularly relevant if quality deviations only become apparent later and a reconstruction of the actual process conditions per part or batch becomes necessary.
We use the product ID available in the controller (e.g. DMC) to link each machining step and process parameter to the part. Histories are stored in a high-performance database and are accessible via UI or APIs.
